Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified teaching assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school near Blackpool.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience supporting children in a school setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.

About the Role

  • Support children with SEN in a primary school setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, classroom management, and activities

Requirements

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN
  • Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
