HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunity

24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering bulk milk to dairies nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make deliveries and collections to and from businesses
  • Plan routes on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensure deliveries and collections are made on time
  • Complete daily vehicle checks using your company phone
  • Work closely with the network hubs
  • Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and manage customer expectations
  • Attend regular training sessions
Requirements:
  • Must have a UK Class 1 Driving Licence
  • Previous bulk liquid driving experience is desired
  • Hold a current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Work to deadlines
  • Be confident, polite, and a team player
  • Have good geographical knowledge
