Project Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Project Officer to support the delivery of projects within the Adults and Communities Department. The successful candidate will work directly with the Leicestershire Project Manager and collaborate with project teams from Leicester City Council and Rutland County Council, the NHS, and local community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of specific projects across Leicestershire, Leicester, and Rutland.
- Develop project management skills and contribute to innovative ways of working across Social Care and Health.
- Maintain and update key documents, including project risk and issues logs, and financial monitoring of the ARF Fund.
- Organize and facilitate key meetings with project teams and local communities.
- Provide general administrative support and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working on projects in a support role.
- Good team working and relationship building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Video conferencing.
