Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Nurse/Senior ODP to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatres.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position at Renacres Hospital, where you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a supportive environment, with access to the Ramsay Academy and potential to gain your SFA qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the theatre environment, working effectively with the surgical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the theatre, including preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting the surgical team as needed.
- Develop and maintain your skills and expertise in theatre nursing, including orthopaedic surgery, and contribute to the development of our theatre team.
- Work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our theatre policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
HCPC/NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament surgery.A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.A flexible and positive attitude, with a warm, considerate, and empathetic character.Benefits:
