About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our cafes meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of hospitality staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and minimize waste
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
