Job Description

As a Primary School Sports Development Officer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering sports-related activities and programs within a Primary school setting in NG8.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sports-based mentorship programs for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create tailored support plans for students.
  • Assist in planning and delivering sports-related activities and programs within the school.
  • Support students in developing positive behaviour and social skills.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a sports-related discipline (e.g., sports coaching, physical education).
  • Experience working with children or young people in a coaching, mentoring, or educational setting.
  • A commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of secondary school students and the school environment.
