Junior Financial Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Clerk to join our finance team in Norwich. This role offers a great chance to develop your skills and knowledge in financial services and gain a nationally recognized qualification.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail. They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and a one-year course at City College Norwich.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with financial transactions, including bank reconciliations, payments, and bill processing
  • Assist with client queries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Work closely with fee-earners and secretaries to resolve financial matters
  • Identify and report any issues or discrepancies promptly

About You:

  • Calm under pressure, team player, flexible, and adaptable to changing demands in workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized, with good attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Friendly, confident, polite, customer service orientated

About the Course:

You will work towards your Accounting AAT certificate level 2 at City College Norwich, which is a one-year course that covers Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Costing, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls, and The Business Environment.

Earn £19,000 - £24,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
