A unique opportunity has arisen to assist children with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school in Ebbw Vale. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring a positive learning environment and helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and general support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist pupils in reaching their potential and achieving their goals
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Good understanding of special educational needs and their impact on learning
  • Ability to provide a range of support to pupils, including academic and emotional support
  • Patience, understanding, and a calm demeanor
