Job Overview:

The Dingwall Parking Centre is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. As an essential member of our centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review CCTV images of cars parked in violation of local site rules
  • Validate Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) including potential fines versus approved user and exemption lists
  • Undertake check-ups of vehicle ownership through the DVLA
  • Create and post statutory notice letters to members of the public
  • Coordinate first-line appeals and debt recovery to the point of being passed to a third-party stakeholder
  • Scan inbound post from members of the public
  • Interpret enabling legal code of practice
  • Manage complaints as the first line of contact
  • Ensure processes for applying discounts and exemptions are working correctly
  • Monitor payment status of Penalty Charge Notices
  • Complete Payment Management actions such as Refunds, Transaction Reversals, and Redress Payments
  • Utilize software programs such as Parkway and FGL

About You:

  • You have excellent documentation skills
  • You can work effectively in a clerical setting
  • You possess a keen eye for detail
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are eager to learn new subjects and absorb new information
  • You are willing to acquire new knowledge of computer systems
  • You can multitask and adapt to change with minimal direction
  • Prior experience in the parking industry is desired but not essential
