Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrub Practitioner to join our client's theatre team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations, ensuring patient safety and well-being at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theatre work, with experience in General Surgery being a significant advantage. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include private medical cover, critical illness cover, and a range of training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments for surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • RGN or ODP qualification and NMC or HCPC registration
  • At least 2 years' experience in theatre work, preferably in General Surgery
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
