Linen Services Coordinator

The Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Hospital Linen Assistant. This role will provide a weekend linen service to deliver linen to wards and departments at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.
About the RoleAs a Hospital Linen Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a delivery service of hospital linen to wards and departments. You will work with a flexible approach and be expected to provide assistance as required in the busy linen room. The ability to order, receipt, and audit goods efficiently and accurately is essential to this role.
Experience of working in a similar environment is highly desirable. You should have basic literacy and numeracy skills with accurate attention to detail. Manual dexterity and co-ordination are also essential, as you will be required to lift weights up to 20 kgs.
You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of people, including patients and service users. The ability to organise and prioritise day-to-day tasks is crucial, as well as being flexible in your approach.
Requirements- No formal qualifications are required, but an induction period and on-the-job instruction will be provided.
- Previous experience of working in a linen services environment is desirable.
A salary of approximately £22,000 per annum is available for this role. If you are a motivated and organised individual who is looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
