Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical individual with advanced statistical & machine learning skills to contribute to daily trading decisions by analysing latest weather forecasts and doing analogue analysis based on historical weather data.

In this role, you will:

  • Create and improve weather forecasts for our portfolios across Europe based on a wide range of numerical weather forecasts and statistical models,
  • Develop statistical arbitrage strategies for power and gas markets based on insights into mid-range weather evolution.

The successful candidate will have experience in handling large weather data sets from various formats, strong commercial mindset, interest in short-term energy markets, renewable energy, algorithms and data science.
