Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing and developing specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients within our Care Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to deliver and promote high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
  • Providing interface and discharge liaison, and support to wards and units within the Care Group.
  • Leading on the provision of clinical pharmacy services to sub-specialties within the Care Group and ensuring a high level of clinical pharmacy input.
  • Developing, implementing, and auditing local guidelines.
  • Assisting in financial reporting to the Care Group and drug budget management.
  • Ensuring seamless pharmaceutical care on discharge, liaising with other pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
Person Specification

We are looking for a pharmacist with:

  • MPharm qualification.
  • Registration as a pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate certificate or equivalent experience.
