Business Support Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our team at Reed. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our adult social care service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend safeguarding meetings and take accurate minutes, both in person and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
  • Upload and distribute approved minutes in a timely manner.
  • Arrange venues and coordinate attendees for meetings.
  • Manage invitations and communications for meetings through Teams as required.
  • Oversee the safeguarding coordination inbox, prioritizing and writing up minutes efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and minute-taking.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Personal resilience to deal with emotionally charged information related to vulnerable adults.
