Claims Handler

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Brave, a leading insurance organisation. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing customer claims, providing excellent service, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage claims from intimation to settlement, ensuring efficient processing and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Obtain sufficient information from customers to intimate claims and assess appropriate claims routes.
- Manage claims within delegated authority, including confirming cover, appointing suppliers and loss adjustors as required, and keeping customers informed.
- Ensure all records of the process are kept up to date, effectively utilising relevant systems and databases.
- Deliver ad-hoc projects and other duties as required to support business strategy and enhance customer experience.
Requirements:
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office, and the ability to effectively use NFU Mutual systems.
- Own transport and full UK driving licence.
