About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Support Assistant to join our team at Drawbridge House, Bridgwater. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support services to our customers with disabilities, enabling them to maximise their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support to customers, promoting their daily living skills and encouraging social inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure customers receive the best possible support.
  • Maintain a safe environment for customers, adhering to relevant regulations and procedures.
Requirements
  • A caring and approachable nature, with a confident 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families, and internal and external agencies.
  • Experience of working as a member of a team, with a positive and accepting approach to customers with diverse needs.
  • Level 2 NVQ Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards.
