About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate packing of products as they are transferred from our High Care Production areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of traceability paperwork, including use by dates, amounts, prices, and temperatures
  • Stacking of packaged orders onto wheels or pallets as they are received
  • Setting up lines ready for production, ensuring correct packaging, trays, and cages are available
  • Ensuring tape machines are set up correctly and supplied with tape to keep lines running
  • Following production plans to ensure correct packaging is issued to production for each order
  • Booking packaging to production on the computer using the Aurora system
  • Receiving and locating packaging on deliveries, putting deliveries away into storage areas
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, identifying and utilizing downtime to clean equipment and surrounding areas

Requirements

  • Able to read and write in English
  • Ability to work as part of a team to complete orders and store deliveries
  • Basic level of Maths required for booking different amounts on the computer and tracking extra bread issued
  • Great attention to detail for completing traceability paperwork and accuracy
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
  • Ability to work under some pressure to ensure lines are serviced and able to run continuously
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of scanners and relevant software programs, such as warehouse management systems (Aurora)
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods
  • Honesty and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work effectively under limited supervision
