Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Local Committee and factory Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance in hygiene, food safety, and quality.
  • Deliver quality objectives such as complaints reduction, foreign body reduction, and First Time Right (FTR) improvements.
  • Take a lead on delivering quality within the area to reduce losses.
  • Promote quality awareness and commitment to quality across the area.
  • Ensure successful management of quality incidents by participating in root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are closed out.
  • Carry out consumer complaint investigations to provide feedback and identify improvement actions.
  • Review, update, and communicate quality systems including HACCP and QMS.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a Science / Engineering / Quality related subject.
  • Demonstrable experience in quality roles working in FMCG (Food and Drink) Factory environments.
  • Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programmes, influencing at all levels within the factory.
  • Experience of training, coaching, and challenging people in reaching targets.
  • Participating or leading improvement projects delivering tangible quality improvements.
  • Knowledge of working with Quality Management Systems and food safety.
