Design Engineer

Flintstone Technology Ltd, a leading provider of innovative mooring systems solutions for the global energy market, is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join its experienced engineering team in Dundee.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop Flintstone products for energy markets, including floating offshore wind.
- Develop new products, improve existing designs, and modify them to meet specific project requirements.
- Perform calculations to support and verify design work, including Finite Element Analysis.
- Participate in project design reviews and failure mode effect and criticality analysis.
- Report writing and creating and managing 3D models and technical drawings.
- Check and approve other design engineers' output and prepare project-specific documents for presentation to clients, authorities, and third parties.
- Meet with clients and users to determine their requirements and present design solutions to interested parties.
- Prepare draft purchase orders and oversee testing and reporting conclusions.
- A minimum of a BSc in mechanical engineering.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position.
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 3D CAD knowledge - Solidworks preferred.
