**About Brandon James**
Brandon James is a Cambridge-based construction consultancy that prioritizes training and development. We're seeking a talented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to take on a more challenging role with a diverse workload.
**The Role**
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you'll join a dynamic team working across various sectors, including leisure, healthcare, retail, and education. Under the guidance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, including pre- and post-contract tasks such as measuring, tendering, and final account management.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Measuring and quantifying construction work
* Tendering and procurement
* Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation
* Managing variations and changes
* Final account settlement
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Quantity Surveying or Construction-related degree (minimum 2.1)
* UK Quantity Surveying experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Excel
* A personable, enthusiastic, and hardworking attitude
* A driving license
