NHS Scotland is a leading healthcare provider in the UK, employing over 40,000 staff in various clinical and non-clinical roles. As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be part of a team that delivers high-quality care to a population of over 1.15 million.

This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. You must hold a BSc Degree with Honours and preferably have studied some aspects of physiology.

NHS Scotland serves a large catchment population, with a cardiac physiology workforce of 58 WTE. The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is the biggest acute hospital in the country, providing a range of services including pacemaker implants and follow-up, and an extensive ultrasound service.

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing ECGs, Ambulatory Monitors, and Exercise Tolerance Tests. You will also be involved in the training and development of junior staff, and will have access to a robust in-house training program.
