About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Excelcare Holdings, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents at Winifred Dell Care Home in Brentwood, Essex.

Our team is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. We are looking for a caring and kind individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with mealtimes and personal care
  • Complete daily record keeping, charts, and care plans
  • Engage in meaningful activities with residents and promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
  • 0 hour contract with flexible shift patterns
  • Opportunity to pick up shifts as and when available
  • 12 hour shifts from 8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am between Monday - Sunday
What We're Looking For

We are looking for an individual who has experience in a care environment, either in a care home, as a home care worker, or caring for a loved one. However, if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work with older people, we encourage you to apply.

We offer a range of benefits, including 28 days holiday, free on-site parking, enhanced bank holiday pay, and a comprehensive induction programme. We also offer funded qualifications via the apprenticeship programme and a refer a friend scheme rewarding £500 for every person you refer.
