We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to contribute to the success of Pro Talent. As an experienced accounts technician or senior, you will play a vital role in our accountancy practice, providing expert advice and support to clients in the Bolton area.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Manage personal and corporation tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Compile monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights into business performance.
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks using software like Sage and QuickBooks, ensuring seamless VAT returns.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing queries and offering ongoing business advice.
- Collaborate with team members, including mentoring trainees, to drive business growth and development.
- Experience in a small/medium accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of accounts preparation and taxation.
- AAT qualified or equivalent, with proficiency in a range of accounting packages, particularly Sage Business Cloud/Sage Line 50.
- Confidence in visiting clients to assist in maintaining computerised accounting records.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
