Mechanical CAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Designer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a Mechanical CAD Designer, you will be responsible for producing technical drawings in 2D AutoCAD and working on site surveys.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret customer's technical drawings and requirements and translate them into drawings suitable for approval
- Occasionally go and perform site surveys (training provided)
- Identify and inform the Project Coordinator on additional technical scope of work inclusive of material and labor costs
- Respond to manufacturing and test queries throughout the project
- Produce BOM's to enable procurement of all electrical schematics
- Previous experience with production of mechanical casing or capping drawings
- Experience with 2D AutoCAD
- Understanding of IEC61850 is beneficial but not necessary
