About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Intervention Specialist to join our team at Spurgeons. As a key member of our school-based counselling service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation to children and young people in schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and counselling sessions to children and young people in schools
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and interventions
  • Consult with pastoral teams in schools, parents/caregivers, and statutory organizations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Qualification in Counselling or a related field
  • Membership of a relevant professional body
  • DBS clearance or equivalent
  • Minimum 100 hours of experience counselling children and 100 hours counselling adults
