As a Public Realm Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving the strategic growth of our practice and contributing to business development.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a senior leadership team, bring strong commercial awareness and industry expertise to the role both in the UK and internationally, and oversee public realm and landscape projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering landscape and/or architectural projects, a qualification in architecture, landscape architecture or a related degree, and exceptional communication abilities combined with proven leadership skills.

We are offering a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes hybrid working, work-life balance, and involvement in award-winning projects that nurture the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead new business opportunities, contributing to the practices' strategic expansion and growth
  • Play an active role in the senior management group, providing insights on the practice's performance, strategic initiatives, and future plans
  • Represent and promote the practice by attending industry events
  • Act as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Collaborate with the FD to maintain accurate financial oversight and reporting on projects
  • Ensure the delivery of top-quality project designs across all RIBA stages

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • 8+ years' of experience delivering landscape and/or architectural projects
  • A qualification in architecture, landscape architecture or a related degree
  • Extensive experience working on public realm and landscaping projects both in the UK and internationally
  • Strong design expertise, technical proficiency and a track record of delivering high-quality work
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations and planning would be beneficial for the role
  • Exceptional communication abilities combined with proven leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and effectively planning resources
