Your Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Electronics Circuit Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our library engineering team, you'll be responsible for creating an unprecedented database of electronic components. Your expertise will be crucial in rapidly creating high-quality electronic component models using our advanced EDA software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate data extracted by our preprocessing algorithms
  • Enter engineering constraints
  • Collaborate with the library engineering team to devise clever ways to model novel electronic components
  • Inform the work of our internal software development team to enable faster and more reliable digital twin creation processes
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electronics circuit design
  • Proficiency in selecting components for analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuit boards
  • Knowledge of schematic design principles for analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuit boards
  • Experience with at least one professional electronic CAD software package (Mentor, Cadence, Altium, Zuken) and willingness to learn others
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to use Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in schematic capture and/or component selection for relatively complex circuit boards (100+ components, 4+ layers, high-speed digital signals, sensitive analog components)
  • Experience in circuit analysis (timing analysis, transient analysis, DC operating point calculations)
  • Knowledge of PCB layout principles for analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuit boards
