We are seeking a dedicated Student Success Coach to join our team at The Bedford College Group. This rewarding role will play a pivotal part in the success of our students by fostering resilience, growth mindset and strategies to prepare them for their next steps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand individual student starting points and work collaboratively with them to develop tailored support plans.
  • Monitor attendance and readiness to learn, proactively addressing persistent absence to ensure students stay on track.
  • Support vulnerable students by serving as a liaison between internal and external agencies, removing barriers to learning.

About You:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Education or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in student support or similar roles
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and youth mental health first aid principles

Working Pattern:

This is a permanent term-time position with 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE). Travel to all campus locations may be required for meetings, events and training.

Salary: £24,000 (pro rata) DOE and qualifications, plus benefits including 35 days annual leave, People's Pension and retail discounts.
