Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the performance of a team of social workers, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality services to adults with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of social work practice, ensuring that assessments and plans are robust, evidence-based, and outcome-focused.
  • Allocate cases effectively, matching the risk and complexity of cases with the skills and experience of social workers.
  • Contribute to the development and introduction of a quality assurance framework for the service, ensuring that practice is operating in accordance with Croydon's early help and staged intervention model.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research findings, legislation, and policy developments relevant to the service area.

Requirements:
