Job Overview

Elysium Healthcare is a leading provider of high-quality care services, offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled Lead Nurse Specialist to join our team at Badby Park in Daventry.

This challenging role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to oversee and provide high-quality care and support to individuals with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide high-quality care and support to individuals with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.
  • Lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the unit are performing well.
  • Delegate nursing tasks to nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams.
  • Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes.
  • Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support.
  • Making critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification.
  • NMC registration.
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership skills.
