About the Job

Are you an ambitious and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging role in site investigation? We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Site Investigation Specialist to join our team at Approach Personnel Ltd.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a renowned geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigation company that has established offices across the UK. As an Environmental Site Investigation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and delivery of site investigation projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Construction, specifically Site Investigation, and hold a BSc in a relevant subject such as Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Geological and Earth Sciences. A MSc in a relevant subject or working towards Chartered Status would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of construction phase plans, incorporating RAMS
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental management plans
  • Organise and implement site work phases, including SHEQ components
  • Prepare and deliver site safety inductions and tool box talks
  • Undertake accurate soil, rock core and trial pit sampling and logging
  • Monitor staff competency on site
  • Ensure hours of work compliance on site
  • Monitor drug and alcohol compliance on site

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive excellent training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career prospects.
