As a Sales Engineer at SS&C Intralinks, you will play a critical role in assisting our Account Executives in identifying and addressing the secure document exchange needs of our prospective customers. Your technical expertise and industry knowledge will enable you to recommend potential solutions that align with the business goals and objectives of our customers and our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the pre-sale discovery phase to analyze customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to overcome service delivery obstacles.
- Provide training and support to other members of the sales team.
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows and conferences.
- Measure success criteria against customer business goals and ensure adoption and renewal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in presales/sales engineering/solutions consulting.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
- Proven knowledge of enterprise SaaS VDR solution market and competitive technology landscape.
- Experience with Document Collaboration technologies and understanding of how these can address business problems for customers.
- Ability to work with technical teams and personnel to overcome service delivery obstacles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating training materials for internal and external use.
- Experience in working with customers in financial markets for M&A, Alternative Investments, and Debt Capital Markets.
- Demonstrated experience of Enterprise Security Architectures.
