Academic Historian

An academic historian is required to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As an academic historian, you will be responsible for teaching history to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, contributing to the development of our history curriculum, and participating in staff training and development.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in history and a proven track record of teaching experience. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and committed to providing an outstanding education for our students, we would like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the National Curriculum for history, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans. A formal teaching qualification with QTS and experience working in a mixed secondary school environment are essential.
