Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at a SEMH provision in Northampton. The successful candidate will work alongside a class teacher to support learning and may be expected to work 1:1 with children across multiple year groups.
Key Responsibilities- Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom to ensure all children are looked after and learning from the taught content.
- Support children with SEN in a 1:1 setting.
- Respond confidently to challenging behaviours.
- Work coherently with teachers to provide support for students.
- Promote and encourage independence and personal development.
- Experience in a challenging behaviour setting or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Confidence in responding to challenging behaviours.
- Passion for assisting students.
- Competitive rates between £350 to £400 per week.
