Full-Time English Teacher Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our faculty at a reputable Secondary School in South-West London.

Job Summary

This is a full-time teaching position, commencing from January, involving the delivery of English lessons to students across various key stages.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Taught English to students in KS3 and KS4, potentially including some KS5 classes depending on qualifications and experience.
  2. Supervised students as they prepared for GCSE examinations, adhering to established assessment frameworks.
  3. Maintained and improved teaching and learning standards within the department to ensure students achieved optimal academic progress.

Key Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrated strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • Understood the principles of high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Been proficient in using technology to support teaching and administrative tasks.
  • Been able to communicate effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Had excellent organisational and time-management skills.
