Financial Manager for Global Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounting Manager to join our team at CV-Library, a global home appliance manufacturer based in Weybridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including report preparation, payments review, bank statement reconciliation, and cash flow forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate accounting closing on a monthly basis to guarantee that reporting is produced in a timely manner.
  2. Liaise with other departments to obtain month-end accruals with supporting documents.
  3. Generate various inventory reports for the month-end, analyze the variance, and share with relevant departments.
  4. Provide adequate and concise management account reports as requested by HQ and UK Management Team.
  5. Provide strategic and operational oversight of all financial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with standards and end-to-end monthly financial close, along with related Notes and CF and year-end statutory reporting.
  6. Own the balance sheet reconciliation process and associated review activities, with a focus on ensuring compliance with accounting policies and enhancing quality and control of reconciliations.
  7. Prepare the Company's Annual report and Accounts to ensure they are accurately on time and approved by the external Auditors.
  8. Coordinate and manage Quarterly and year-end audit, main point of contact for external auditors.
  9. Manage internal audit.
  10. Manage biannual physical count of inventories and fixed assets.
  11. Review and approve expense claims.
  12. Manage companies' tangible assets.
  13. Companies' Financial KPI analysis and improvement.
  14. Manage banking operations, including Accounts Payable activities, Supplier set up, and corporate cards in the organisation, while following strict due diligence policies.
  15. Payments management for mass payment, DD, and same-day wire payments.
  16. Korean speaking is advantageous.
  17. You must also be AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA part/fully qualified or have equivalent qualification.
  18. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  19. Experience of Oracle-based system is an advantage.
  20. Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirements.
  21. Experience of working within a performance management environment – KPIs and Service Level Agreements.
