About the Role

As a key leader at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, you will oversee the delivery of innovative housing services that transform lives and drive meaningful change. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape housing policy, tackle homelessness, and champion inclusion in a diverse and thriving community.

You will lead our efforts in housing, homelessness prevention, and support for asylum seekers and refugees. This includes developing preventative strategies and services for residents facing housing challenges, focusing on early intervention, co-production, and fostering community inclusion.

Your work will have a direct and measurable impact, improving housing outcomes and building stronger, more resilient communities. You will play a central role in addressing complex challenges, from domestic violence to the integration of marginalised groups, ensuring every resident has access to safe, supportive, and culturally appropriate solutions.

Salary: £72,118 - £77,293
