Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a Year 7 pupil with challenging behaviour. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and structured environment that fosters engagement, motivation, and positive behavioural outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to the pupil, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
- Assist in the development of individualised learning plans and strategies to address specific needs.
- Foster a positive and respectful relationship with the pupil to build trust and encourage positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and record the pupil's progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
- Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies.
- Support the pupil during breaks and transitions between classes to maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Enhanced Childs DBS
- DBS update service
- Registration to the Education Workforce council (EWC)
- Able to provide 2 most recent references.
- Right to work in the UK.
