Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores & Goods In/Out Operative to join our team at ESS Employment Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Goods In/Out Operations: Perform Good Inwards/ Outwards, Stores, Dispatch and Deliveries, including company transport.
  2. Compliance and Quality: Adhere to and manage company procedures (ISO 9001, QC97, Material Receipt and Storage, Packing and Assy) to ensure complete company compliance to customer specification requirements.
  3. Stock Management: Conduct and manage all stocktaking requirements, ensuring accuracy of all stock/ store/ goods inwards related information on ICAPS.
  4. Material Certification: Store all material certifications and ensure they comply with all customer specified requirements.
  5. Reporting and Planning: Report directly into the Production Manager, perform tasks related to the area, acknowledge customer order due dates, and produce weekly planning sheets to ensure capacity is at an optimum level.
  6. Customer Liaison: Liaise with current customers on delivery promises and ensure the ICAPS system is reflective of production activity within 24hrs.
  7. ISO 9001:2015: Work within the guidelines of ISO 9001:2015 procedures for the relevant associated roles.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work with other members of staff (buying, programming, production, team leaders) to plan workloads effectively and to maximum production capacity and within customer specifications.
  9. Performance Monitoring: Advise management of performances, potential bottlenecks, and customer-based issues.
  10. Office Administration: Ensure all office filing is done in a timely and correct manner.
  11. Capacity Planning: Help develop capacity planning within the production department to maximize efficiency within customer delivery requirements.
Requirements:
  1. ISO Standards: Familiarity with ISO Standards.
  2. Forklift License: Possession of a Forklift Counterbalance license.
  3. Logistics Management: Ability to manage logistics, including transport, to meet customer demands.
  4. Computer Literacy: Literate and confident with computers.
