Job Overview

CNC Turner Setter/Operator/Programmer in Birmingham. This role is part of the CNC Setting team, responsible for setting machines using drawing and manufacturing data packs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set and run a range of CNC machines working with various materials, primarily brass and steel.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and design data to ensure high-quality components.
  • Understand CNC programs (ISO or conversational) and operate inspection & measuring equipment, including CMM.
  • Demonstrate determination and high standards of workmanship.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider business team.
  • Maintain a good attitude, flexibility to challenges, and possible changes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficiency in MAZAK (Mazatrol) QT200MS/QT250MSY.
  • Familiarity with Citizen Miyano (ISO) L32IX/BNE51MSY/L20.
  • Knowledge of Traub (ISO) TNC65DGY/TNL12.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic, punctuality, positive attitude, organization, and time management.
  • Awareness of luxury brands' requirements.
