Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with special educational needs and disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children who have SEND, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The role involves providing individualized support to students with complex needs, assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, and helping students develop social skills and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support to students with diverse needs
- Collaborating with teachers on curriculum development and implementation
- Supporting students in developing essential life skills
- Monitoring student progress and reporting back to educators
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience working with children who have SEND
- Right to work in the UK
- Engaging and reliable attitude
- Valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure
Salary: Up to £100 per day
