About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at VolkerHighways in Somerset. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing all allocated commercial and contractual matters on our Street Lighting Contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial and contractual aspects of the Street Lighting Contract
  • Lead and motivate an assistant surveyor to deliver the project successfully
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate risks
Requirements
  • Accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES)
  • Adequate experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and/or Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in financial management and analysis
