About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant to a Music Agent in our London office. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the music industry and previous experience assisting high-level booking agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Music Agent in day-to-day administrative tasks, including show contracting, procuring ticket sales counts, and liaising with internal departments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with artists, record labels, talent managers, tour managers, publicists, and concert promoters.
  • Assist with show contracting, including procuring ticket sales counts and liaising with client managers.
  • Maintain artists' show diaries and procure final settlements for shows played.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, updating booking systems, and resolving enquiries.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and business affairs teams to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote artists and their work.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of artist information, including release dates, label, management, and account details.
  • Assist with festival and headline show guest lists, and help manage requests from artists and their teams.
  • Work closely with the artist accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Chase and check settlements and payments, and approve statements for final settlement with the artist.
Requirements
  • Previous experience assisting an Agent ideally within the Music department of a talent agency.
  • Strong understanding of the music industry and current trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  • Discretion at all times, particularly when dealing with sensitive client matters.
  • Ability to develop business relationships and work effectively with artists, managers, and other industry professionals.
