Job Description

We are seeking an Activities/Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Deanfield Nursing Home.

Responsibilities

  1. Work with our management team to implement Advinia's Wellbeing and Engagement Programme - S.P.E.C.S.
  2. Develop and coordinate programmes to encourage Residents to maintain pre-existing activities.
  3. Encourage colleagues, Residents, relatives, and friends to participate in our engagement programme.
  4. Arrange trips and outings to enable Residents to engage in offsite activities.
  5. Support creating an engaging environment throughout the Home.
  6. Fundraise opportunities to supplement activities budget.
  7. Maintain accurate records of activity budget spend.
  8. Establish a Resident's Committee to ensure all Residents have a voice.
  9. Evaluate risk assessments for all activities and outings.
  10. Maximise resources available to support delivering meaningful activities.
  11. Participate in and develop activities based on Advinia's monthly themes.
  12. Plan individualised 1-2-1 activities for Residents who cannot participate in group activities.
