Bid Management Specialist

Unipart Rail is a leading logistics company seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at our Doncaster site.
Main Purpose of the RoleTo manage the end-to-end bid process, acting as a key touch point for bids for all stakeholders. To deliver proposals and bids to the customer base, through the management and development of high quality and compelling proposals to meet business targets for growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resources needed to develop high-quality proposals.
- Analyze and evaluate bid opportunities to determine the best course of action.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve bid success rates and reduce costs.
- Experience in bid management, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
