Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking control, instrumentation, and electrical works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and fault finding within new and existing MCCs, industrial instrumentation, analysers, motors, actuators, and automated control systems associated with RSE products and client industries.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing a flexible approach to resourcing commissioning requirements of various projects
  • Developing commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements, and risk assessments
  • Monitoring standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained
  • Attending FAT activities and providing input on system controls
  • Carrying out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation, and Control Systems, including MCCs, and associated field equipment
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, line diagrams, and P&ID's
  • Completing SAT and Asset Start-up
  • Completing commissioning documentation
  • Participating in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Electrical/Instrumentation HND/HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Proven Mechanical & Electrical experience – full commissioning phase experience
  • Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems
  • Experience of MCCs, VSDs, Softstarts, and Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature instrumentation
  • Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects
  • Experience in FAT, SAT testing, and fault finding
  • Experience in telemetry end-to-end testing
  • Profibus, Installation, and Commissioning Certification
  • Flexibility for location of work and out-of-hours working as required
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
