Job Title: Classroom Supervisor - Blackwood
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Classroom Supervisor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Classroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining discipline, and managing the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure students remain on task with the work they have been set.
- Manage the behavior of students while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment.
- Address any questions from students about process and procedures.
- Provide feedback to students where necessary.
- Encourage students to engage with the material and complete tasks.
- Record attendance in accordance with school procedures.
- Collect any completed work after the lesson and return it to the appropriate teacher.
- Report any issues arising during the lesson to the regular class teacher or senior staff member.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of organization and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
