Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Manager to lead our Business Partner Team in providing exceptional financial management services to our client councils.

About the Role

  • Lead the Business Partner Team in delivering high-quality financial management services to our client councils.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the achievement of our client councils' objectives.
  • Manage and support the Business Partner Team in setting annual budgets and reporting financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other Strategic Finance Managers to develop and implement financial reporting and decision-making tools.
  • Provide technical accounting support to the Business Partner Team and client councils.

About You

  • You will be a qualified accountant (CIPFA/CIMA/ACCA) with significant experience in public sector finance.
  • You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • You will be a collaborative and communicative individual, with excellent interpersonal skills.
