Electrical Project Manager Opportunity

We are working with a well-respected M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £50m and a busy order book of upcoming projects in partnership with leading main contractors across the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors. The company requires an electrical project manager to join their London business unit to work on a notable £15m M&E government building refurbishment project in North London.

As an electrical project manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical aspects of the project, working closely with the MEP project director and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing electrical projects, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the electrical aspects of the project, including design, installation, and testing.
  • Work closely with the MEP project director and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact the project.

Requirements:
  • Experience in managing electrical projects, preferably in the M&E sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including design, installation, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
