Job Description:

This Perioperative Care Coordinator role involves working closely with patients undergoing surgery, ensuring their needs are met throughout the process. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and their families. You should be registered with the relevant governing body, such as the NMC or HCPC, and hold relevant qualifications and experience in perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care pre- and post-surgery.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of perioperative care policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on patient progress and outcomes.
